Cars cleared after collision closes A194 in South Shields
A two-vehicle collision which closed a busy road in South Shields has been cleared.
The A194 Newcastle Road was shut outside the Simonside Arms near Wenlock Road.
Officers from Northumbria Police attended the scene.
A spokeswoman confirmed there had been no injuries and the vehicles had been removed.
