Newcastle United's Joelinton posts heartwarming message on social media

Joelinton has become a father for the second time.

The Newcastle United striker post a photograph of his newborn daughter on Instagram after his partner gave birth at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.

"Welcome my princess,” said Joelinton. “I’m the happiest daddy in the world. May God bless and protect you always. I will always be there to care, protect and give you all the love in the world. You and your brother are my life.”

Joelinton – who started last weekend’s 3-1 win over Burnley at St James’s Park – has won praise from United head coach Steve Bruce for his recent performances.

"As I said, we are a work in progress, but Joe has added something to us, which I’m very, very pleased about,” said Bruce. “We know that he can play to a side, and obviously now, off the front as well, and be where he played (against Burnley).”
