South Shields supporters are making plans for a day out at Wembley after the club reached its first-ever national cup final.

They beat Coleshill Town 4-0 in the second leg of their FA Vase semi-final yesterday, to complete a 6-1 aggregate win.

The Mariners will meet Cleethorpes Town from the Northern Counties East League at the national stadium on Sunday, 21 May.

Yesterday's match was played in front of another bumper crowd of 3,464 - a new Mariners Park record.
