Pupils from Laygate Community School in South Tyneside have thanked their teachers for the support that they have given them throughout the lockdown.
Laygate Community School pupils have thanked teachers for their efforts during the coronavirus lockdown by posting a video on social media. The video wasn’t the only way that the children have showed their thanks, some of them have even baked the teachers a cake which they are going to deliver to the school.
Chloe Saeed, 33 from Harton Moor is the mum behind the idea to say thank you to teachers.
“The teachers said they got emotional seeing all the children’s faces and the parents have said their kids have enjoyed seeing all their friends again,” she added.
“I just wanted to show some appreciation for what they do, not only for the children but the parents as well. They are a big part of our children’s lives.”
